RE:  'Teacher of the Year' suspended for Facebook comment

Gentlemen:

I would call your attention to the following statement of policy and offer my thoughts relative thereto for your review and consideration.

“All teachers are bound by a code of special ethics (and) this is a code ethics violation investigation.”

There is no question but that this policy is unconstitutional and unlawful if applied to conduct of any employee of your schools to control or censor private, personal communications. The "Bill of Rights" to the Constitution of the United States of America, Article 1 protects the rights of all citizens, regardless of timing or positions of employment within the public school system.  You have no authority to administer any such restricted uses of the internet or censor social network activities for anyone.  It is not your business or in your purview to make such judgments.  You should immediately be fired for misconduct, and prosecuted for violations of the constitutionally protected rights of others involved in this incident, e.g. Mr. Gerald Buell.

It is disingenous and outrageous for you to lie to the public by stating no disciplinary actions are being taken against this teacher in good standing when you have humiliated him and reduced his position to one of non-student contact.  This is simply unacceptable.  If anyone should be disciplined for the actions taken by your administration, it should be those in your organization who participated in violating the rights of Mr. Gerald Buell.  I hope your staff is prosecuted for your miscreant conduct and you are punished to the fullest extent of the law for this abusive behavior.  As a grandfather of five (5), I would not allow this to go unchallenged, and demand your removal as a threat to my children's moral values and a perverse atmosphere in which to attend school.  I would have your jobs, guaranteed.

Clearly, you have no sense of rationality or judgment to determine the proper response to such a complaint from a disgruntled liberal or a homosexual activist with an agenda to destroy the very fabric of our society to justify his / her moral depravity.

Mr. Buell was right and just in his comments on "gay" marriage being immoral and flat out repugnant behavior.  I support this position 100%, and would recommend he be reinstated fully or be transferred to a school of another location to avoid the embarrassment of having to explain your ignominious conduct and attempts to discredit this teacher, who demonstrates more spine and moral character than the rest of the school district's politically correct hypocrites combined. You are destroying the moral fabric of America and our public school system.
